A new study adds to the list of benefits of olive oil for human health, something that will help many people who have problems with fatty foods.
Olive oil is known to treat cardiac problems in humans, although the mechanisms of this process are not yet known. More specifically, the study concluded that olive oil can reduce or even eliminate the negative effects on the health of high fat meals.
So researchers have tried to do some experiments with an element that they suspect of this advantage and which is called “hydroxytyrosol”. The experiments were done in mice and the result was to reduce their fat indicators sufficiently.
It is a polyphenol of extra virgin olive oil which has detrimental properties which play a quite important role for human health.
